Primary School - Reptile Incursions
There is no better time to introduce children to the amazing world of reptiles than through an educational reptile incursion in Primary School. Whether it's just one class or a whole school, we can cater to your needs. We can set up in a wet area, library, undercover area or even a classroom and only need you to provide tables for us to set up our enclosures and space for the children to sit.
Kindy & Pre-Primary - lets introduce children to living creatures. How do they look. What do they need to live.
Years 1 to 6 - dive further into comparison of animals, look at their traits, discuss habitat & environment, their basic living requirements and tie it all together with an opportunity to get hands-on with living animals.
Our displays are designed to fit the Western Australian curriculum, for example;
Science understanding - (Biological Sciences) "Living things have a variety of external features or Living things have life cycles."
Science as a Human Endeavor - "People use science in their daily lives, including when caring for their environment and living things."
Science Inquiry Skills - Your opportunity to follow up our displays by asking students to record and sort their observations and share them with others.
We can also cater for Special Needs Schools. We include the Noongar Names on our displays and can also teach the children the AUSLAN signs for each of our animals.
Also a great idea for Rewards Day's & River Ranger Presentations

High School - Reptile Incursions
We all know that trying to engage with teenagers is one of the biggest challenges for teachers and getting up close to reptiles is something that will grab their attention (some of which may never have seen one up close before). We can cater to any year level and presentation type you require.
Our displays are designed to fit the Western Australian curriculum, for example;
The perfect option for year 7 students who are continuing to develop their understanding of the role of classification in ordering and organizing information. Science as a Human Endeavor (Example) 'Scientific knowledge has changed peoples’ understanding of the world and is refined as new evidence becomes available.' or 'The theory of evolution by natural selection explains the diversity of living things and is supported by a range of scientific evidence.'
Our displays include information about each animal including the Scientific Name, Common Name, Noongar Name, location found within Australia and also lots of other facts. We can even send you information in advance to allow you to prepare worksheets for them to bring along to take notes.
Special Needs Schools - YES we cater to you too. Our staff are patient, kind and very happy to provide you with the opportunity to have an incursion. We even know the AUSLAN signs for our animals.
Perfect option for your River Rangers / Bush Ranger programs

Daycare - OSHC - Playgroup
Whether it is during the school term or in the school holidays we are able to provide you with great options for incursions to your childcare centre. Generate interest in attendance leading to more bookings.
When we attend daycares or Out of School centres we generally only take the animals out and discuss one by one. By not setting up enclosures we are able to attend the centre with no set-up time, no pack-up time and no unnecessary disruption to your centre.
Our animals are all very safe to touch/hold. From babies through to older children, we will delight and engage.
Great option for Open Days
