Reptiles you can keep as pets in WA
In Western Australia, you are only allowed to keep reptiles as pets from the approved gazetted list of animals as published by the Government of Western Australia. In 2019 changes were made to the way reptiles were classified and to reptile licensing. The list of gazetted animals are now divided into category B and category C animals.
