About Us
Perth Reptile Company is based in Perth, Western Australia.
Originally established by Adam Firstenberg and his fiance Lisa Harrap in 2014, after they recognized a gap in the local market for reptile keeping accessories. Today the business focuses primarily on educational reptile displays as well as the sale of reptiles for pets.
Adam's interest in reptiles was ignited as a young child. Influenced by wildlife ambassadors such as Steve Irwin and David Attenborough. Adam has been keeping reptiles since 2010 when he purchased his very first snake, 'Homer' the Stimson Python. Homer is still alive and well today and has spent a good majority of his life educating children and adults across WA, he has even been featured on TV.
Lisa fell into reptile keeping by default. Having had an interest in frogs and geckos, her passion for reptiles developed when she met Adam. Since then they have worked together to educate, entertain and save snakes and other reptiles across Western Australia.
